I decided to post this because of the many comments, most which were unapproved due to the offensive subject material (and rather unintelligent), from Mickey Mouse, aka Peter Pan, aka Tinkerbell that droned about the bookkeeper's position as well as making personal attacks on the mystery author of this site (which she has guessed as wrong). As the saying goes, hell hath not fury like a woman scorned, however, fury can't stand a chance to calculating and cunning.

Anyways, Ms. Joanne Lown decided to sue the town for her job back because she felt that they violated the law and her rights. The courts DID NOT agree with her and dismissed her case.

Little did she know was that creating and abolishing positions for the purposes of economy and efficiency (as well as preventing another $320,455 error) is well within the Town's rights to do so based upon case law. She also filed the motion one month after the statue of limitation had expired, so I'll remind myself NOT to use the law firm that represented her, since they could have saved her the time and money and told her that she was wasting valuable resources.

I would also like to point out that her official title was BOOKKEEPER TO THE SUPERVISOR. I wonder if it was CONFIDENTIAL bookkeeper to the Supervisor.
