Message body Ms. Serino, I would be happy to post your official reply online for all of the readers of the website to read. The site receives approximately 200-400 hits per day so your reply would be made public. Any naiveté on your part of not being knowledgeable of the embezzlement (if Mr. Langan did not disclose the information to you) would be made available to the public. Again, I'm sure a reader of the site may also take it upon themselves to ask you this very question during the public comment portion of public town board meetings which are also televised.   Thank you for you consideration into this matter.

Ms. Serino was quick to respond to my initial e-mail...however I'm still waiting for her response my my second inquiry.

Ms.Serino, My identity is of no importance. As a member of the elected Town Board you have a responsiblity to the public to explain your reasons why you supported Mr. Langan to this position. I am sure tha you do not want your support of Mr. Langan to be a campaign issue. A reasonable explanation would be suffice.   Thank you.   AD

In light of the discovery of James Kennedy Langan's history of embezzlment, perhaps Ms. Serino would care to comment on her choice of voting to appoint James Lanagan on the Police Advisory Committee?

Perhaps the other Town Board members got it right to vote 'Nay.'

I have emailed Ms. Serino to question her reasons for wanting to appoint Mr. Langan per the following e-mail:

Ms. Serino,   In light of the discovered information of Mr. James Kennedy Langan embezzling over $18,000 during the period he worked as a broker, perhaps you care to explain your vote to appoint him to the Police Advisory Committee?   Did Mr. Langan disclose this information to you beforehand? I'm sure that the public would be very interested in your reason to appoint an individual who was found guilty of embezzling his client's money to a position that represents law enforcement.   If you haven't already been notified of the said charges, I have included a link to the information for you to review.   http://www.nyse.com/pdfs/81-073.pdf   I eagerly await your response.   AD

I will post her response as soon (or if) she replies.
