The night before Election Day and Joe Kakish still remains rather clueless about taxes and the budget. Despite his 'volunteerism' with the Fairview Fire Department, he still didn't know that the fire tax is a special district tax and IS NOT included in the town budget. In fact, the fire districts conduct their OWN, SEPERATE budget vote. Mr. Taylor had to provide a short lesson to dispel all of the inaccuracies that came from the mouth of Joe.  Joe also wanted the board to cut taxes to meet the 2% tax cap law, but he apparently wasn't paying attention when the statistics were provided that indicated that 10% of the increase is solely due to repayment of bonds.
God help the people of Hyde Park if he gets elected.

Kakish is the chosen candidate of Jim Langan, Hyde Park's most famous petty thief. Please remember, Langan publishes a rag newspaper that really doesn't sell very well. Who can believe a thief. Langan is desperate for friends and attention now that the town knows that he's a thief and a liar. Is it true that he is also a pant wetter?

Kakisk came off like a jerk. He's been spending too much time with Yancy. Hey Joe, a word of advice: Get rid of both those losers (the McArthurs) and get a normal life. They have already done harm to your reputaion or what's left of it. Remember, Yancy is a five time loser. Did you actually think that he could help you?
