FORMER HYDE PARK TOWN SUPERVISOR, REPULICAN COMMITTEEMAN&HUSBAND OF THE HYDE PARK REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN CAUGHT RED HANDED STEALING “RETIRE SALAND” SIGN.
On Saturday, September 1st around 10 pm, Di Carlo's campaign manager and another person witnessed
Yancy McArthur brazenly stealing a “Retire Saland” sign that had just been placed on public property on Route 9G in Hyde Park. Five more signs were later found in a dumpster directly behind businesses owned by McArthur, some cut up into little pieces.When the witness reported the theft to police he was told by the dispatcher that MacArthur had called them and admitted that he had stolen the sign. This incredibly petty act of political desperation lends credence to the speculation that Mr. McArthur is behind the theft of more than 150 Di Carlo campaign signs over the last month.
Zachariah Chichester, Di Carlo's manager said, “I know that Steve Saland and Paul Singer (of “Gay Mafia” infamy) with his NY Unity PAC, have spent an astonishing $300,000 to defeat Neil in this primary.For Saland supporters to stoop to such petty levels indicates how desperate they really are. I am certain that District 41 voters will see past the avalanche of over $700,000 poured into Saland's coffers for what it is, a blatant attempt by Bloomberg and the Gay Mafia to own elected officials and control upstate.”
