Is this another abuse of the town board?

The July 30, 2012 edition of the Poughkeepsie Journal announced that the Hyde Park town board was holding an emergency exectutive session to discuss the recent litigation filed against them by Steven Costa.
This meeting was improperly held as the litigation is not against the town and the town board as a whole, but rather the town board members are being sued individually.
The writers of the HV News Lies would like to stress to the readers that Mr. Costa is filing suit alleging that the town board members engaged in extortion, which is a criminal act. Although Warren Replansky stated that legal representation would be covered through the town's insurance policy, he failed to mention that criminal acts are NOT covered and the town board members will need to retain their own attorneys out of pocket.
It should also be noted that the writers of the HV News Lies are of the opinion that this lawsuit has the possibility to 'open up a can of worms' so to speak in regards to other corruption that may be taking place in Hyde Park should New York State decide to investigate the extortion charges and press charges a

Seeing the town board going into executive session on 8/06/2012 was no shock to me as I knew what they were going to discuss the lawsuit that was initiated was to each individual member of the town board. I believe that they felt only a few may know about it and thought they might be able to get through it without many of the taxpayers weren't aware of it. If you notice, the supervisor said they were going into an excutive meeting to discuss a lawsuit and a personnel matter. It was interesting that she did not mention it wasn't a lawsuit filed against the town, thus leaving anybody watching that the town was going to be sued. As for the personnel matter, I believe it had to to with Joann Lown since I had raised questions about her activities with my famous jackass councilman Truitt, telling him to get her under control or out of her job as she seems to be running the show. It was here when he said he would inform the supervisor. If I heard her right, it seems we have several people doing the work they call on her to come to the board meeting to, I believe, back up the dumb attorney and the entire board. Also, where does the chairman of the planning board tells them what they are doing is good. That is another one that we need to "Open up the can of worms" on as well Mr. Bickford (spelling I'm not sure of)

Are They Scared?

The board is running scared. What they have done with Costa may initiate a state or federal investigation of the alleged extortion. Since the Costa complaint has a charged of extortion and fraud, the town;s insurance may not represent them. Extortopn is a crime. The town's insurance does not cover criminal activity. Also, the town is not being sued by Costa. He is suing each board member in an individual capacity. They may be forced to hire their own attorney to represent them and the cost would be on them and not the town.

All board members should get John Bickford to represent them, since he is the two smartest men in Hyde Park and is one of the all time attention whores.
I don't believe the town board will get rid of Lown. Who will run the town?
